Applications are currently going on for the Vidyasiri Scholarship. The scholarship scheme was introduced by the Government to aid students aspiring to continue their educational sojourn. The Karnataka Vidyasiri scholarship is designed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD students with the primary objective to lift to students under the post matriculation scheme.
Vidyasiri Scholarship 2019
The Vidyasiri Scholarship website is currently open for students who wish to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need for students who cannot afford higher studies. Students who are not financially capable of financing their education should utilize this opportunity. The Government provides Vidyasiri Scholarships to meritorious students of SC/ST/OBC categories.
Vidyasiri Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must be native of Karnataka State, particularly a rural area of Karnataka State.
Applicants must belong to SC/ST Category.
An annual income of the candidate’s family should not Rs 2,00,000
Applicants have a minimum 75% of attendance.
The applicant should be eligible and willing to pursue a post-matric course in any college in Karnataka State.
Application for the scholarship can only be activated online through Epass.
Applicants are required to have Aadhar linked bank account for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The applicant should have passed the previous exam without any form of assistance.
The distance between the college and the student’s residents should not be more than 5km.
Students who are living in a Hostel or PG are eligible for the scholarship.
The applying student must belong to a minority.

Application for the Vidyasiri Scholarship can only be done online. Visit the website to apply and upload all prerequisite documents.
Vidyasiri Scholarship Application Status
Candidates can know their application status by clicking on “Karnataka Epass Application Status” on the website.
Enter the Application Number and select the Academic Year.
Choose the SSLC pass type and enter the past year.
