Cummins India Scholarship
The Cummins scholarship was developed in 2006 by the Cummins India Foundation (CIF). The program has assisted over 1000 deserving students and also provides mentorship for the awardees through the entire duration of the course. The senior employees of the foundation usually provide the mentorship.
Eligibility for the Cummins Scholarship
Applicants must be currently pursuing a professional degree/diploma in Engineering at an accredited educational institution. They must have attained a minimum of 60% marks in their senior secondary exam or higher secondary exam.
Applicants must have obtained at least a 60 % score in their previous exams of the course they are studying.
Applicants should not be more than 25 years. Applicants in their 1st / 2nd-year degree and diploma students have an added advantage.
Students in their finals in an Engineering course are not eligible for the scholarship.
Postgraduate students are not eligible for this scholarship.
The total family income of the candidate should not exceed 3 lakhs per annum.
Only applicants residing in Pune, Jamshedpur, Ahmednagar, Phaltan, Indore (Dewans / Pithampur) are eligible for the scholarship.

Before the Cummins Scholarship Form, students are required to register their profile on the website and subsequently log in with the details to check their application status.
Cummins Scholarship Aptitude Test
Application forms will be scrutinized, and the 1st round of eligible candidates will be called for an aptitude test in September. The candidates selected after the aptitude test shall be invited for a series of personal interviews in October. The final list of selected candidates will be announced in November / December.
The personal interview will be conducted by a panel to evaluate the students based on technical and non-technical parameters. The supporting documents submitted by candidates shall be scrutinized during the personal interview.
Merit Cummins Scholarship
The objective of the Cummins Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses
The scholarship will cover admission and tuition fees.
The expenses borne by the beneficiary towards purchasing stationery up to 1,500 per semester are reimbursed.
The scholarship doesn’t cover private tuition fees, expenses for accommodation like Hostel, mess, transport, bus expenses, cafeteria charges, etc.
Duration of the Cummins Scholarship
The scholarship lasts until the beneficiary course’s completion, provided that he/she secures an aggregate of a minimum of 60% in each academic year.
