The cost of attending a YYGS residential program is $6,500. YYGS is organized by Yale University and takes place on the Yale University campus in New Haven, Connecticut. (They used to conduct programs in Beijing, but they currently solely operate programs on the Yale campus.) Students will reside in Yale dorms during the program, attend classes, hear lectures from Yale professors, and spend their free time with other program participants.
Students can learn about a subject of particular interest to them and spend time with like-minded friends by participating in the program. Yale Young Global Scholars Application
The YYGS application portal is available on their website. The YYGS application will be available in September. Early action is due in early November, and the normal decision is due in mid-January. Early action applicants will get their admission decision by mid-December and must decide whether or not to attend by early January. The Yale Young Scholars Program tuition for the two-week session is USD 6,500. This fee includes instruction, housing at one of Yale’s renowned residential colleges in New Haven, three meals per day, and optional health insurance. However, travel costs are not included in the program tuition.
Tuition fees are paid using a payment gateway because Yale Young Global Scholars use external payment processors to accommodate domestic and international applicants.
Tuition payments can be subject to processing fees by the external payment processor (Slate or FlyWire). Hence, students can access this gateway by logging into their application, which will direct them to the Application Status page.

Who Can Apply For The Yale Young Global Scholars Program 2023?
To be eligible for the Yale Young Global Scholars Program, you must;
Be at least 16 years old by July 19, 2023 (the first day of Session III)
Be a current high school sophomore or junior (or international equivalent).
Have the ability to participate in a rigorous academic curriculum conducted in English.

Yale Young Global Scholars Acceptance Rate
There is no fixed acceptance rate of the yale young global scholars program. Yale Summer Session is looking for enthusiastic high school students who want to take Yale College courses for credit.
