The REMUS-SEBRING Group has been a development partner and original equipment manufacturer for the international vehicle industry. Various premium vehicle manufacturers like Bentley, Porsche, Audi, and others are among the group’s customers. the REMUS-SEBRING Group Scholarships for Students in Austria was designed to promote female students in the Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics programs.

The REMUS-SEBRING Group is teaming up with the University of Technology Graz to award scholarships to 5 female students in Bachelor’s and Master’s program in the University. The female students must be studying either Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Economics, or Production, Science, and Management (PSM) programs at the University of Technology Graz.

REMUS-SEBRING Group Scholarships for Students in Austria 2020/21

REMUS-SEBRING Group Scholarships for Students, in partnership with the University of Technology Graz, will be awarding scholarships to 5 female students in the TU Graz. This scholarship is only for female students studying either Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Economics, or Production, Science, and Management (PSM) programs at the University of Technology Graz.

The scholarship is divided like this:

  • 3 bachelor’s Stipends for female students in the Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics programs
  • 2 master’s Stipends for female students in the Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics, or Production, Science and Management (PSM) programs

Requirements/Eligibility

The scholarship is for female students in both bachelor’s and master’s programs at the University of Technology Graz.

For the Bachelor’s Scholarship

Female students who have been admitted to the Bachelor’s program since the winter semester 2019/20 and have thus far provided excellent proof of academic achievement will be considered. Have it in mind that only female students studying either Mechanical Engineering, and Business Economics, or Production, Science, and Management (PSM) programs at the University of Technology Graz. 3 students will be selected.

For the Master’s stipend:

All female students who have been admitted to the Master’s program since the winter semester 2019/20 and have thus far provided excellent proof of academic achievement will be considered. Only females accepted into Mechanical Engineering, and Business Economics, or Production, Science, and Management (PSM) Master’s programs in the University of Technology Graz are eligible.

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Proof of academic achievement in previously attended schools or programs and
  • Two reference letters from teachers

How to Apply for the REMUS-SEBRING Group Scholarships for Students in Austria

The documents listed above should be sent by e-mail before or on 31 October 2020 to bachelorstipendium-remus@tugraz.at for female students in the Bachelor’s program and  masterstipendium-remus@tugraz.at for female students in the Master’s program

Note that applicants studying “Mechanical Engineering” or “Mechanical Engineering Business Economics” are required to hand in the documents listed above in German, and applicants studying “Production, Science and Management” are required to submit their papers in English.

Duration of the Scholarship – award will be provided for a maximum of 2 years. Please keep in mind that this scholarship is solely based on academic performance; students are expected to keep excellent grades or stand the chance of losing the award.

Benefits of the REMUS-SEBRING Group Scholarships for Students in Austria

For Bachelor’s students, the amount provided monthly is 500 €, and a total of 12,000 € over two years. (continuance of payment is based on the recipient academic performance)

For Master’s students, the amount provided monthly is 900 €, a total of 21,600 € over two years. (continuance of payment is based on the recipient academic performance)

Additional benefits:  Recipients of the scholarship might be presented with the opportunity of a paid – internship position at REMUS for 2 months during the two years. Further integration into the REMUS activities is possible.
