The scholarship is our way of encouraging acts of kindness, service and giving so they remain an essential part of the awardee’s future. $1,000 is awarded to three lucky recipients annually.

Wine Country Gift Baskets is a company incorporated in California in 1989. The company specializes in providing gifts fitting any recipient or theme and operate with a philosophy of putting the customer first in service and by providing top-notch products for personal gift-giving as well as offering products to corporate customers.
Wine Country Gift Baskets Scholarship
The Wine Country Gift Baskets in an effort to give back to the society organized the Spirit of giving scholarship. the scholarship was designed to promote generosity and assist High school seniors who wish to enroll in an accredited institution. The scholarship doesn’t just cover 4-year institution but also two years institution like community colleges.
The Spirit of Giving Scholarship is open to High school seniors and current college students planning to attend college the following year after applying for the scholarship. the scholarship covers tuition cost of any accredited institutions in the US. 4-year colleges, community colleges institutes of technology and certified credential or certificate programs all fall under accredited institutions in the US
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for the Spirit of Giving scholarship:
Applicants must be planning to attend school in the next school year at an institution within the US.
Employees and family members of Wine Country Gift Baskets or Houdini Inc employees are not eligible for the scholarship.
Previous winners of this scholarship are not eligible.
Incoming freshman can provide a copy of the acceptance letter and a supporting document showing they have started a relationship with the school.
Submission essay 500-750 words on one of the following topics:
How have you advanced the Spirit of giving in your community or abroad either through service or in giving?
How has the Spirit of giving affected you personally?
How will your college or post-secondary education allow you to be of service to others or give to others?

Selection Criteria Spirit of Giving Scholarship
A committee of three individuals at Wine Country Gift Baskets will review applications and essays to determine how the scholarship can best be represented and used.
