Medley Hall Residential College International Bursaries 2020/21

The Medley Hall Residential College International Bursaries is awarded annually to new and returning students who cannot afford to live in Medley Hall. The total amount of the award is around $280,000 as residential college fee remissions to deserving students. The scholarship doesn’t cover the recipient tuition or course fee

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must have received an offer to study at the University of Melbourne
  • The scholarship is open to both Australian Permanent Residents and non-Australian citizens
  • Applicants must have applied to live at Medley Hall or living at Medley Hall and seeking for renewal
  • Applicants might be required to complete a means-test to determine if they are eligible for the award.
  • Only applicants who have demonstrated financial need are Eligible.

Benefits

College fee remission ranging from $1,000 up to $15,000 depending recipient level of financial need. Recipients with higher financial needs are awarded a more substantial amount

These bursaries do not cover the University of Melbourne course fees, tuition fees, monthly stipends, etc.

Number of scholarships awarded: Approximately 20 recipients are awarded the Medley Hall Residential College International Bursaries.
