Technical Sales Engineer/Architect

Department: Technical Sales
Reporting to: Technical Business Manager

Description

The Technical sales Engineer/Architects will be responsible for providing product technical information to clients, support clients with information on product and systems application and installations,  generating new sales leads and expands ARMORSIL range of products within the Nigerian market.

Responsibilities / Functions

  • Create awareness among construction companies and consultants on company products and benefits to the end users.
  • Undertake presentation to clients, consultants and construction companies on company product utilization and benefits
  • Undertake sample trials for clients and consultants to demonstrate product efficacy and performance
  • Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth by focusing on secondary sales.
  • Directs the selling activities within the Area, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
  • Leads the sub-ordinates, inclusive of managing performance, Mentoring, hiring and career development.
  • Responsible for the Area’s forecasting and sales tracking.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of area sales and profitability.
  • Ability to identify business development opportunities within the area.

Specific Targets / Objectives

  • Achieve Sales value and volume for his area.
  • Make product available in every area within his locations by expanding the distribution of products.
  • Make available New products or brands as per company strategy plan
  • Optimum stock to be maintained with all his distributors within his area.
  • Train all sales force within his area.

Requirements/Education and Experience Required

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture and Quantity surveying.
  • Minimum of 3-7 years working experience of sales in the building and Construction Industry
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Large team handling capability
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position.

Project Manager ( Civil Engineer)

Department: Operations
Reporting to: General Manager Operations

Description

The project Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the field staffs across different client’s sites, He shall also be responsible for interfacing with clients and managing expectations.

The Project Manager is also responsible for scheduling, dispatching, assisting, and monitoring the daily work assignments of crews and equipment. The candidate will insure that all crews have the daily necessary materials and equipment for their assignments. Dispatching and creating routing assignments is a key aspect of this role and prior experience is preferred.

Responsibilities / Functions

  • Ensures proper client expectation management as well as exceptional customer service
  • Monitor KPI’s to insure goals are met
  • Recruit, hire, train and lead our moving crew with a hands on approach, lead by example
  • Responsible for team members development, training, and corrective counselling
  • Responsible for ensuring that site work are carried out professional and in timely manner that shows professionalism
  •  Responsible for ensuring that equipment are properly maintained and other working tools properly stored both in the office and on site.
  • Good knowledge of project management, supervision and implementation
  • increasing customer business development opportunities in the local market by working with corporate Sales team
  • Responsible for assigning resources to meet goals
  • Responsible for truck maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Specific Targets / Objectives

  • Ensure little or no recall rates
  • Ensure that clients expectation are properly managed
  • Ensure that jobs are executed in a professional manner
  • Ensure that projects are executed within reasonable time

Requirements/Education and Experience Required

    • University Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying and Building Technology.
    • Minimum of 5-10 years working experience of sales in the building and Construction Industry
  • Proven leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position.
